About this part of our organisation:

You will be supporting our Zinc and Copper Assets in Australia which include multiple & geographically dispersed operations, including underground and open pit mines, processing plants (Concentrator, Refinery & Smelters) and port facilities. This position is based in our Townsville office and supports multiple operations.

About your potential new position:

Due to an internal transfer, we are we are seeking an applications / integrations developer. Your primary purpose will be to work collaboratively with the team ensure siloed programs communicate effectively to meet business requirements in a timely manner.

Typical actions you might be tasked with include:
• Developing integrations and applications.
• Collaborating with business users, internal IS&T team members and vendors to improve services across our business.
• Responding to incoming incidents and service requests from our internal customers.
• Creating and maintain technical documentation.
• Occasionally participating in ‘out of hours’ support tasks and on call roster.

The type of skills, experiences and attributes we are looking for:
• You enjoy to working as part of a collaborative team, sharing knowledge and learning from each other.
• Previous experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, MySQL, Git, Python, Java, C#, Android and MATLAB would be regarded highly.
• Exposure to developing in an enterprise environment, working on Agile projects, and following IT Infrastructure Library guiding principles.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to documentation, testing, and security requirements.
• You are comfortable collaborating with business users to ensure your work meet business requirements.
• Your strengths include excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities and taking a proactive approach to your work.
• Whilst you have Tertiary qualifications (or currently studying) in an IS&T discipline you continually learn and upgrade your skills and knowledge base.

It is essential you have worked in a ServiceNow environment for several years.
