Role Overview: Location: Lahore. Hybrid (3 days in office)
As a Network Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform server maintenance, including installation, configuration, and updates of server hardware and software.
• Monitor server performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage Linux services and ensure their availability and security.
• Perform regular security audits and implement measures to safeguard against vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
• Troubleshoot network and server issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network upgrades, server expansions, and Linux service enhancements.
• Document network configurations, server setups, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, with a strong emphasis on server maintenance and Linux services.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with server maintenance, Linux administration, and related services.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
