We are looking for a System Administrator to directly support the U.S. Office of Military Cooperation - Kuwait (OMC-K) customers. Primary duty locations are U.S. offices within OMCK spaces of the US Embassy and Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense (KMoD) facility in Kuwait City, Kuwait. This position is fully deployed and requires an active Top Secret SCI (TS SCI) security clearance.

You will be responsible for:
• Operation and maintenance of all IT architectures in the organization.
• Support the entire site solo as needed, from service desk up to server, storage, and network administration.
• Support physical and virtual server operations & maintenance, network storage administration, basic network administration, and Tier I-III desktop troubleshooting as needed on multiple networks.
• Interact with the customer and maintain mission-first focus, 'can-do' attitude, and impeccable ethics.
• Work in time-sensitive situations involving general officers, State Department diplomats, and non-US personnel.

Primary Responsibilities
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual Windows server operating systems for domain operations and security (2016, including domain controllers, DNS, Exchange, ACAS, and SCCM servers)
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot host servers and storage area networking (SAN) equipment (NetApp)
• Provide informal training to government representatives and teammates on MS Teams / OneDrive use
• Provide Tier I, II, and III troubleshooting on desktop systems, software, printers, VOIP, VTC, and server/network related issues
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot basic LAN equipment (Cisco switches and routers, TACLANEs)
• Manage users, computers, security groups, GPOs, and other Active Directory requirements for the site
• Maintain mobile systems and services (such as iPhone configuration & support, VPN technology, etc)
• Monitor and apply security including patches, IAVAs, STIGS, updates, and backups
• Participate in or lead special projects and day-to-day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead, including, but not limited to, security accreditation efforts (RMF); configuration management processes; and IT infrastructure projects

Basic Qualifications
• BS degree and 2-4 yrs of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Microsoft 365 Administration and end-user support.
• Strong systems and network troubleshooting skills an absolute must.
• 8570 IAT II or higher certification: i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA Security
• Computing Environment Certifications such as MD-101, MD-102, AZ-104, CCNA, NetApp
• ESITE Level 2 Education & Experience: HS Diploma/GED + 8 yrs experience, or Associate's Degree + 6 yrs experience, or Bachelor's Degree + 4 yrs experience, or Master's Degree + 2 yrs experience
• Current US Passport with at least 36 months validity and 6 blank pages left
• Ability to pass a CENTCOM pre-deployment physical and required training

Security Clearance Requirement: Active Top-Secret/SCI

Preferred Qualifications
• 8570 IAT III certification: CASP CE, CISSP, or equivalent

Pay Range:

Pay Range $54,600.00 - $98,700.00
