As a Sales Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for sales for Business Motion in a high-tech environment and will be the key link to our customers. Together with the sales team, you will contribute to our success, coordinate and plan complex solutions and sales strategies and develop measures to acquire new customers. This position reports to

Head of Sales Region South-West Motion Germany

Your responsibilities
• Responsibility for the acquisition of new customers and for maintaining and securing the customer base
• Competent contact person for our customers and customer-oriented presentation of selected ABB products and solutions
• Translating requirements in the OEM customer segment into appropriate solutions by analyzing specifications and tenders
• Preparation and follow-up of offers (supported by technical office staff) through to project negotiations and negotiation of framework agreements
• Continuously monitoring the market and competitors and contributing to the development of new sales strategies
• Participation in trade fairs, customer events and promotional campaigns and support for our marketing activities
• Budget responsibility with regular analysis of the results of all activities under your own responsibility

Your background
• Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar
• First professional experience in field sales, ideally in OEM sales and in the field of drive technology, desirable - however, we are also happy to give motivated career starters a chance
• Application experience and application knowledge for the use of frequency inverters, electric motors and control systems
• High customer and market orientation, strong closing and assertiveness skills as well as persuasiveness, negotiation skills, service orientation and self-management
• Open-mindedness towards new media and technologies
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
• High willingness to travel for customer appointments in Southwest Regional Sales
