The role

The Marketing Specialist for China will be responsible for building a scalable approach to creating awareness, engagement and ultimately conversion across our China market. This role requires a proven marketer with experience building successful and measurable marketing programs that drive pipeline growth towards revenue targets.

You can deliver strategic go-to market plans and execute them with grace and pride yourself on fast wins and strategic ideas that stand out against the competition.

Key areas of responsibility

Support Sales / Content Creation:
• Develop and create client content, social media content, maintain channels and platforms end to end.
• Localize global/regional marketing content and collaterals to be used effectively in China market.
• Work with Global marketing on digital marketing efforts and online conversions, you will also support our direct sales efforts.
• To work with our sustainability team to help create a solid sales presentation, and an appealing demonstration for our sales team’s client pitches
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness

• Conduct or arrange market research as needed, assess customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for event growth.

Communications and Branding:
• Drive awareness and branding to our company through thought leadership, connecting our subject experts to seminars, exhibitions, networking events, media coverages and interviews.
• Create consistent positioning statements, messaging and the associated proof points. Localize our group marketing content to China’s market and drive external messaging and awareness.
• Write and commission compelling content for different collateral types and audiences.

Growth/Performance Marketing:
• Develop and execute B2B marketing strategy to articulate ACT’s value proposition to our partners -- including media agencies, resellers, creative agencies and industry associations
• Understand the landscape of China and using a data approach to develop, implement, execute and evolve market segmentation
• Conduct or arrange market research as needed, assess customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for event growth.
• You create buyer personas, set up customer journeys and analyze the online search behavior of (potential) customers and create new target groups based on the marketing campaigns and channels that are used.
• Responsible for setting up, analyzing and optimizing various paid online channels, which you will identify. With data as a starting point, you know exactly what to adjust to ensure that the channel converts better, and the predefined objectives are achieved.
• Definition and management of the budget allocated to various online marketing campaigns
• Analyze sales data and channel information and then create plans to improve product line sales using marketing and sale techniques
• Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns, recommend and implement optimizations to improve program effectiveness.

Experience
• 4 to 5 years working experience with brand strategy and communication or B2B Marketing, Performance Marketing or similar roles
• Bachelor degree in Marketing. MBA or additional business training is appreciated
• Passions for environmental issues and understanding of sustainability concepts, CSR, ESG and related subjects.
• Demonstrated success in positioning and launching products or services.
• Creation of dashboards to monitor all relevant KPIs that needs to be established to assess marketing performance
• Subject matter expertise in the renewable energy, sustainability or financial markets will be a bonus.
