Responsibilities : Maintain Project Environmental permit trackers and follow up with contractor for timely submission of renewals / EPA. : Review of contractor EPA and renewal submissions. : Liaise with stakeholders with matters related to environmental requirements; : Implement, maintain and monitor compliance with the CEMP and all environmental compliance procedures, and be based full-time on site; : Review of monthly environmental and sustainability reports, dewatering reports, micro-tunneling and slurry lagoon. : Conduct environmental site inspection and ensure that non-compliance observations are reported to site supervisors for corrective measures; : Conduct periodic environmental audits to review contractor performance and advise action plan to comply with MECC, authority, ISO 14001 and international best practice requirements. : Maintain the project environmental and sustainability records; : Incident /accident investigation and close out all non-conformances; Qualifications : At minimum should hold Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering / Science from an accredited institution; : Master’s degree preferred, but not compulsory; Experience and Skills : Must be Qatar Registered Engineer (environmental) : 10+ years of related work experience of which 5 should be in infrastructure projects. : Ability to professionally and effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English : Environmental Management during construction. : Environmental Auditing. : Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting requirements for the MECC- Qatar. : Ability to perform environmental site inspections. : Waste Management Additional Requirements : Should have valid Qatari driving license.
