What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?

The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

What is your role and surroundings?

Our Faurecia FAS Business Group is looking for you as a VIE Sustainability Engineer for our Hannover plant, in Germany.

What will be your main missions?
• Further development of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools and methods for Faurecia Automotive Seating products, processes, and business models
• The Eco Design Leaders in promoting and in aligning the faurecia LCA / Eco-design principles with the respective counterparts and departments of OEMs (incl. emission factors)
• Innovation projects teams in quantifying and reducing the environmental impacts of new products/technologies
• Update of databases (FACT, others) related to emission factors
• Contribution of and cooperation with other Ecodesign Teams and functions in the regions

In addition, there will be opportunities:
• To participate in the search of new sustainable products / projects
• Participate in trainings given to the engineering communities
• To participate to internal and external working groups related to Eco-design (Faurecia Eco-design network, industrial associations…)

The mission will last 12 months.

What you need to join us?
• Master’s degree/Engineering diploma in Material/Mechanical Science or equivalent, with competencies in environmental assessmento Skills in Life cycle analysis and related tools (GaBi, …).
• English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world.
