Infrastructure and Resilience group.

You will use your extensiveexperience to ensure that our databases are highly scalable,secure, performant and resilient. In close collaboration withproduct developers and other teams, you will guarantee thesecurity, integrity, and seamless flow of information for ourhigh-traffic online trading platform.
Yourchallenges The role is technically challengingand fast-paced.

You will need to show initiative, and takeresponsibility for resolving complex problems. Working with the DBA team and others,you will plan and implement critical and wide-ranging maintenanceand improvement initiatives. For example, you might be migratingour database clusters to kubernetes, automating data sanitization,or reviewing database access code.

You will proactively monitor thedatabase landscape, looking for ways to innovate and refine to meetever increasing volume, performance, security and availabilitychallenges. Youwill help to nurture and grow more junior members of theteam. The rolerequires multi-site collaboration over different timezones.

Requirements 7+ years of recent experience as a databaseengineer or DBA - with Postgre

SQL, SQL, PL/pgSQL or similartechnologies. Extensive experience working with large, distributed,high-performance, high availability databases with 24/7uptime. Excellent software development skills, with at least onemulti-purpose language such as Java, .NET or Python. Knowledge of Linux, Shell Scripting andAWS/GCP. Excellent communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written

English. Auniversity degree in software engineering, computer science, or arelated field.

Ability to travel, occasionally, between office locations acrossthe globe. Apassion for continuous learning within the Postgres &database fields.
What s good tohave Experience in the fintech and/ortrading industries.

Experience with devops automationtooling such as Terraform, Kubernetes.

Experience with database CI/CD toolsand implementation.
