Senior, Principal and Technical Director Water / Waste Water Process Engineers
Are you an experienced process engineer??
We have exciting opportunities for Senior, Principal and Technical Director level designers with 6 to 20 years of experience to help our client deliver on a substantial multi-year programme focused on upgrading and renewing water and wastewater treatment process assets for a key client. These roles all require a robust technical background, a client-focused approach, and a passion for sustainable engineering practices.
About the role/Responsibilities:
• Maintain knowledge of the latest technological advancements and research to maintain our client's leading edge in process engineering, with a focus on carbon reduction and cost efficiency.
• Ensure the technical delivery of projects conforms to the highest standards of quality and timeliness, and compliance in all engineering design process and documentation.
• Collaborate with and coordinate internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical designers, as well as our digital engineering specialists and CAD technicians.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Provide leadership to a team of engineers and technicians, professional development, employee wellbeing and technical acumen.
What You'll Bring:
• BE in chemical and process, environmental, civil, or mechanical engineering; further postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
• Registered as a Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng) in New Zealand (or working towards this goal).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the drinking water or wastewater engineering sector, with a focus on process engineering.
• Passion for complex multidisciplinary projects, sustainable process design, nutrient removal, carbon reduction and energy recovery, and a climate conscious mindset.
• Experience with Biowin, Sumo or similar process simulation software would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated capability in fostering client relationships.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
