Due to continued business growth, Allegion New Zealand is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our close-knit team and lead the OEM product portfolio.

OEM is a technical and multi-faceted product portfolio. To be successful you will need a strong understanding of the market, Allegion products and customer door and window systems. You will work closely with our strategic business partners, providing value-added solutions which form part of the broader product offering.

As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product portfolio by taking ownership of key responsibilities that are essential to our growth and market leadership. Key responsibilities
- Develop product portfolio via new innovative product offerings.
- Establish products as industry leaders in terms of quality, functionality, and value.
- Engage with key stakeholders to align product strategy and new product developments.
- Identify market and product gaps, develop compelling business cases which support and prioritise new product development activities.
- Drive NPD projects to deliver in-line with business plans.
- Ensure product range compliance with Allegion quality and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence to facilitate competitive price positioning.
- Effectively manage existing products, plan successions and discontinuations.
- Be the go-to technical resource for internal and external customers, develop and deliver product training.

What you will bring
- A minimum of three years demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
- Experience in the door & window industry and familiarity with door hardware is desirable.
- High attention to detail and natural inclination to be the “technical expert”.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills across all business functions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Project management skills.
