Description

PROCESS ENGINEER:

The function of this position is to perform evaluations, monitoring & supervise the performance of process flow of assigned unit.

Also, manage evaluation of existing process design and their performance and develop proposals and modifications for their improvements within the limits of the IMS work procedures and best international codes, standards and practices so that the manufacturing processes at the assigned plants are efficient and result in productivity as per design.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education: BS (Chemical Engineering)

Experience: 06 to 08 years (Process Engineering experience of Ammonia & Urea Plant)

SPECIALIZATION:

Individual should be qualified in and have core experience of ASPEN HYSIS, ASPEN TECH & HTRI, PHA and is capable to develop model independently to compare the design & actual performances. Moreover, can handle medium size feed projects at Fertilizers Complex

The individual should also be familiar with ERP modules such as SAP

The individual has performed these tasks at Ammonia, Urea Fertilizer Complex as independent Process Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Participates in Process Engineering and project handling.

· Design, evaluate and upgrade systems and processes for achieving business objectives.

· Design, and procure new processing equipment to improve production rate and quality of output.

· Investigate and troubleshoot plant problems.

· Conduct & participate HAZOP studies on node to node basis and have ability to modify the Engineering design in view of HAZOP recommendations.

· Perform evaluations on HAZOP & LOPA software and develop consensus for plant modifications.

· Assist in planning and implementing plant turn around activities.

· Ensure compliance of IMS standards.

· Schedule and coordinate work to tight deadlines.
