Tasks
• We are looking for a Database Admin, you will be an expert in databases and responsible for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of the corresponding systems.
Requirements
• Excellent level of German (C1 level) and English (B1 or B2 level)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Science, Science/Technology or related professions, or completed vocational training in IT with related work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, and Oracle.
• Experience configuring and monitoring database systems for high availability and performance.
• Ability to back up and recover databases, including the use of backup and disaster recovery methods.
• Experience optimizing database performance, including the use of monitoring and analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL programming, including the use of stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Experience managing user and security accounts, including monitoring access rights.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve database systems, including monitoring error messages and system logs.
• Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Certified MySQL Database Administrator (CMDBA) are a plus.
• Structured, process-oriented and independent way of working
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Very good written and spoken German, as well as good English skills
• Willingness to undergo a security check
