The Opportunity

You’ll be involved with the design, technical support, and project delivery whilst being part of a cohesive team. Depending on experience, this position reports to either the Principal or the Lead Engineer.

About You

Ideally, with 6-15 years of consulting engineering experience, you will be based in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast, playing a key role as a member of a growing civil engineering team. In this position, you will be pivotal in designing and providing engineering solutions for a variety of innovative civil projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include undertaking detailed design and documentation for a range of projects, such as roadworks, highways, subdivisions, stormwater and drainage systems, as well as commercial building developments and other general civil engineering tasks.

Key Skills & Attributes

Ideally, you’ll have, as a minimum;
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 6 to 15 years of consultancy design experience
• Understanding of Austroads and relevant Australian Standards
• Some experience with 12D modeling and AutoCAD
• Expertise in subdivisions, roads, hydraulics, or varied civil fields
• Ability to undertake designs, manage projects, and lead a small design team
• Impeccable verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work with or lead, manage, and mentor design drafters
• Proven ability to engage with and foster strong relationships with clients
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver work on time and within budget
