Description

We are looking for an UX/UI Designer who is passionate about user
experiences and can contribute to a variety of projects for automotive
and mobility clients. As a UX/UI Designer you will follow a
user-centered approach, incl. research, developing information
architecture, creating impactful experience concepts, and designing
layouts and interactions.

You will be expected to evaluate
solutions holistically, identify and remove obstacles, and help drive
innovation. You have a clear understanding of the intersection between
visual and motion design and can contribute valuable ideas as we move
from exploration to production. As our work is interdisciplinary and
always evolving, a UX/UI Designer is expected to stay up to date with
the latest software skills, methodologies, and trends within the
automotive industry.

You have experience working in an
interdisciplinary team of designers and can help harmonize different
components of a project or idea! Through your leadership and passion for
design, you will help us create a culture of collaboration,
communication, and excellence in design.

Your being able to think
strategically on behalf of the UXD Department and always keeping the
big picture in mind would be a plus for this role.
You will have the
possibility to support our go to market initiative for the US and manage
the further development of our UXD Design portfolio according to our US
client needs.

We are already having a project in place that
needs support of an UX Designer being capable to do user research and
designing solutions by incorporating clients requirements and user
needs.

Responsibilities
• As a Regular UX/UI Designer you are delivering user-centered
design by iterating solutions based on user research in the area of
commercial vehicles and passenger cars..
• Plan and execute user
tests for design concepts in the field based on specific personas. This
includes the responsibility to identify the proper research methods and
acquiring the needed sample size
• Design and validate new
experiences via navigation concepts, key screen layouts, interactions,
mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX collateral
that can be clearly conveyed to others
• Quickly create and confidently present UX concept prototypes to various stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional user interface and motion design team to align requirements and implement your work
• Create
compelling and insightful reports for research studies and use
storytelling techniques to present insights and recommendations to
internal and external stakeholders
• Work closely with designers,
product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to plan and
prioritize research activities and turn user insights into product
requirements. Communicate to internal and external teams the context,
reason, rationale behind your work
• Ensure documentation and
deliverables conform to the company and clients' specification and be an
engaged participant in client facing meetings
• Continuously
learn and develop your skills as they pertain to UX/UI research, design
and prototyping and work across the company to continually improve the
level of research and best practices

Skills

Must have
• Degree in UI Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, or comparable vocational training
• At
least 2+ years' experience working in UX/UI design incl. research at an
international agency or in house design department at the automotive
and mobility sector
• Good sense of UX design principles, UI design, usability, standards, UX terminology
• Exceptional creativity and a particular feeling for extraordinary UX/UI
• Have an eye for detail to deliver high quality
• High self-motivation
• Independent and cooperative working style within the team
• Solid software skills (figma, Sketch, Adobe CC Suite, Keynote, Microsoft Office, prototyping tools)
