Position Overview:
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will work with operational and technical stakeholders to leverage third-party applications and platforms to design, create, test, implement and support technical solutions utilizing data-driven insights to support decision-making and drive process improvements that help Hy-Vee achieve long-term business initiatives. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to supply chain processes, including inventory levels, demand forecasting, and supplier performance.
Demand Forecasting: Collaborate across functions to develop accurate demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and stock availability.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including safety stock and reordering points, to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
Reporting: Create and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and production, to ensure alignment and coordination in the supply chain.
Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze supply chain costs to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or related roles.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
Knowledge of supply chain software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
Experience with advanced analytics and forecasting models.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
