Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and managing a programme of work to evaluate proposals and provide advice, guidance, and any instruction required.
• Supervising project management duties will include coordination of a wide range of discipline inputs; monitoring and protecting our client relationships; planning and programming; commercial management; and presenting projects for audit.
• Providing leadership and direction to the project team through the proactive, engaging communication of project objectives, contract scope, terms and schedule.
• Defining project objectives, scopes, schedules and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitating project meetings and working sessions, document decisions and next steps.
• Identifying, assessing and mitigating risks. Managing, accounting for, and assessing risk with an understanding of risk identification and management.
• Working in collaboration with other work packages to ensure the integrity of the overall programme schedule and facilitate meetings as required.
• Providing management within an integrated client/consultant team organisation.
• Managing and being accountable for your scope of work on the project.
• Being fully aware of the project objectives in line with the project execution plan and managing and supervising the relevant project team/parties to achieve these objectives. Managing all phases throughout project scope, including project set-up, design and project coordination.
• Being actively engaged in the health, safety, and well-being of the project at all stages.
• Preparing necessary project plans and keeping them updated and relevant over the course of the project.
• Ensuring quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.
• Managing relevant meetings and site walks and ensuring these are suitably recorded.
• Communicating with all project parties/stakeholders and ensuring suitable records are maintained. Develop, manage and maintain effective positive client relationships.
• Ensuring that the terms of the contract are followed and managing scope changes effectively in delivering project objectives.

About you

You have a relevant degree in engineering, construction management or related field. You are a certified PMP status or member of a professional body.

You have experience and proven experience in delivering fully coordinated, multi-disciplinary project or construction management projects in the capacity of senior project manager/project manager and successfully led numerous complex, large scale projects across a range of client types and works with multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.

You have the ability to converse in technical, commercial and contractual matters across all disciplines associated with our projects.

You have a good knowledge of HSE rules and regulations and a proactive approach, suitable technical qualification relevant to the specific project or role.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in programme or project management equating quality and value with the individual clients and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
