What you will be doing:
• +10 years of hands-on database development using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Extensive performance tuning and monitoring experience of SQL Server; ability to optimize and streamline: stored procedures, indexes, and data layout.
• Experience in managing large-scale transaction database systems.
• Expertise in designing and architecting Data Warehouses using star schema for efficient data retrieval and reporting.
• Hands-on experience in developing SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
• Experience in working with scripting languages.
• Experience in version control management tools.
• Experienced in the day-to-day practicalities of Software Development Lifecycles such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Database management experience in Azure is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to mentor developers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
