Responsible for planning, scheduling, ordering, receiving and coordinating the delivery of assigned materials required to manufacture lubricants produced by the facility. Analyze process orders to ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for implementing “just-in-time” inventory management techniques as well as optimizing inventory stocking levels of raw materials used in the manufacturing of all products, including analysis of slow moving inventory. Coordinate semi-annual tank inventories and assist with semi-annual plant physical inventories. Backup the Supply Chain Supervisor and Material Specialist in charge of the Label room processes.

Degree
• College Degree (Bachelors Level) and 4 years of experience.

The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is
• 8 years w/o degree

List any specialized training or unique skills required
• Proficient in use of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and working knowledge of SAP
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and reconciling
• Receive all purchased raw materials ensuring volumes received are correct and within tolerance. Work with CITGO Procurement, vendors and accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform daily review of SAP for outstanding raw material and packaging component requirements for the plant based on sales demand and MRP inventory stocking levels. Analyze and update MRP inventory stocking levels in SAP. Develop and run various daily/weekly reports that help identify trends and seasonal shifts in customer demand. Develop and implement procedures for continuous improvement in material movements reflected in SAP material balances.
• Organize, lead and reconcile semi-annual tank inventories and assist with semi-annual plant physical inventories. Analyze inventory variances and research causes so process change recommendations can be provided to management.
• Review blend and package process orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of completion.
• Monitor and order office supplies and miscellaneous plant materials that are not part of inventory for use in the office and in the manufacturing plant. Work with plant to resolve any computer and network issues.
• Assume the responsibilities of the Supply Chain Supervisor-Lubes and the Label Materials Specialist when they are absent.
