We are hiring for a HR Specialist to join us initially on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Are you looking for a challenging yet rewarding HR Specialist role in a leading global business standards organisation that values best practice, collaborative partnership and diversity?

This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who takes initiatives and ‘hit the ground running’ on their HR advisory capabilities through influencing, coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency, managing employee relations (ER) cases, as well as role modelling the Company culture, values and behaviours.

You will work with the relevant HR Business Partner(s) in your business area to support and partner with Line Managers globally to provide HR advice, support and guidance for all HR related activities in the business by applying their business knowledge to the unique situation. You will enjoy great flexibility and autonomy with your work, with excellent support across our HR community in our matrixed yet interesting organisation.

Location;

Milton Keynes/ Chiswick, London; Hybrid pattern of roughly 1 day office working per week. Subject to business needs.

To excel in this role, you have:-
• In-depth knowledge of relevant employment laws, HR policies, procedures and best practice.
• HR experience within a matrixed organisation, ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or relevant experience.
• Hands on experience of Restructures, change management and recruitment.
• Experience in supporting and leading HR projects and implementing new initiatives.
• Experience in HR System data; compilation and utilisation.
• The ability to research, analyse and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion, negotiation and rationalisation.
• Approachable and personable with good active listening skills, an open mind and empathetic, while still able to be firm when it’s required.
• First class listening skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse community.
