Supply Planner/Supply Chain Analyst

Hunter Campbell
  • Auckland, New Zealand

Description

About the company:

Our client is a successful, well-established, reputable NZ-owned FMCG business with recognisable brands and products sold nationally through supermarket chains and independent retailers. They have over 40 years of history in the NZ market and large year-on-year growth. The business operates on a national scale through a sales, marketing, import and distribution model.

About the role:

With our client experiencing year-on-year growth, they have identified their supply chain to be an area in which they want to invest in the capability with both people and systems.

With this, reporting into the supply chain manager and working closely alongside their Demand Planning, a newly created role of Supply Planning/Supply Chain Analyst has come about.

This is a varied role that will see you doing the following:

-Participating in S&OP processes so that you can derive information for the Supply Planning

-Placing Purchase orders against your Supply Plans and then tracking and tracing the movement of goods from the offshore suppliers to 3PLs

-Inventory management from a systems perspective

-Reporting on ‘In Stock’, ‘Out of Stock’ and ‘Back in Stock’ Inventory

-Supporting clearance activity on SLOBs and expired stock

-Tracking and monitoring NPD launches with the Demand Planner

-Maintaining item Master Data correctly

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will come with knowledge and understanding of the supply chain and hands on experience in the likes of a purchasing, VMI or supply chain analyst role. You will be hungry and keen to learn and confident in working with urgency in amongst an evolving business going through growth and change. You will be confident in using Excel (Power Queries) and quick to navigate new systems. A background in FMCG or Pharmaceuticals would be highly advantageous.

What's in it for you?

With an attractive salary and company/individual performance based bonus attached to the package, this is a stand-out opportunity to work in the FMCG sector for a growing business while enjoying the support, mentoring and opportunities to learn and develop.

Opportunities for career progression will exist in the future as the business continues to grow and build its capability in the supply chain.
