Financial Analyst $100,000 + Super + Bonus CBD, Inner West, eastern Suburbs The CompanyOur client is a globally listed medical solutions company looking for a Financial Analyst to join the team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will overlook the end-to-end finance function for the Australian business. Annual Budget (working with CFO and Other Stakeholders):· Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other key stakeholders to prepare the annual budget.· Analyze historical data, market trends, and operational needs to develop accurate budget forecasts.· Monitor and report on budget performance throughout the fiscal year, making necessary adjustments when required.Quarterly Forecasts:· Prepare and maintain quarterly financial forecasts.· Evaluate and update financial projections based on changes in business conditions and market dynamics.Assist in Sales Month-end Close:· Work closely with the finance team to facilitate the monthly closing process, including reconciling sales and financial data.Weekly & Monthly Sales Report:· Generate and distribute detailed weekly and monthly sales reports to track sales performance and trends.· Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making.Quarterly Commission Calculations:· Calculate and validate sales commissions for the sales team based on established commission structures.· Ensure accurate and timely commission payments.Monthly Personnel Reporting:· Prepare reports related to personnel costs, including payroll, benefits, and labor expenses.· Assist in analyzing and optimizing workforce costs.Pricing Reviews:· Conduct regular reviews of product pricing strategies to maximize profitability.· Collaborate with relevant teams to adjust pricing strategies as necessary.Maintain Central Pricing List:· Keep a central repository of pricing information and ensure it is up to date.· Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to implement price changes as needed.Gross Margin Analysis by Product:· Analyze gross margin by product, identifying areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.· Provide insights to optimize product profitability.Support for Government Tenders:· Assist in preparing financial documents and responses for government tenders and contracts.· Ensure compliance with all financial requirements in the tender process.Your Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.Full CPA or CA qualification.3+ years of financial reporting experience.Advanced proficiency in Excel.Attention to detail, high-level of accuracy.
