The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager (Level L) to lead the Electrical Design and Integration (EDI) team within Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) in Oklahoma City, OK. MS&B provides high-quality, affordable aircraft engineering solutions and support to its military, commercial, and heads of state aircraft customers throughout the United States and around the world.

As a Senior Electrical Engineering EDI Manager, you will provide direction to a department responsible for electrical wire harness design and electrical wire routing design for Airborne Surveillance, Command & Control aircraft, Executive Transport aircraft, and Bomber aircraft. The successful candidate will plan, organize, coordinate and manage all resources necessary to successfully execute MS&B Electrical Design Integration work statement. Must be willing to relocate to Oklahoma City if not currently residing in the area.

Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing resources, processes, program support and MS&B participation in a manner that supports successful Program and BDS execution;
• Lead EDI engineering management teams that provide wire design and wire installation technical expertise and program execution for MS&B supported platforms.
• Mentoring and coaching all levels of managers and engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders and engineers.
• Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives in accordance with MS&B and BDS business goals and objectives.
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers.
• Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements​.
• Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 25%.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in a technical field.
• 10 or more years of experience in an engineering related role.
• 5 or more years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with aircraft certification.
• Previous experience in Electrical Harness/Cable/Wire Design and Routing.
• Previous experience in Electrical Engineering Management.
• Active U.S. Security Clearance.

Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $149,600 - $202,400
