Job Description: Summary:The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations within the engineering and architecture industry. They will collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams, to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and products. The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager will develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, manage inventory levels, and streamline logistics processes.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement supply chain strategies and policies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.Manage inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain.Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and production, to align supply chain activities with project requirements.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and logistics service providers to optimize pricing and service levels.Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.Oversee transportation and logistics activities, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and warehousing.Implement and utilize supply chain management software and systems to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments.Monitor and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain, including transportation disruptions, quality issues, and supplier non-compliance.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and logistics service providers.Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related roles within the engineering and architecture industry. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics operations, and inventory management. Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Strong decision-making abilities and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
