With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-disciplined team of over 3,700 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.

Our MNC Client is looking for a Project Manager for their upcoming project directly working with the client team.

Responsibilities

our day-to-day role would involve the following activities
• Lead the execution of Capital Projects (including scope, contract strategy, resource requirements, communications plan, change management, safety, quality and risk management)
• Responsible for monitoring the budget and the schedule of the global strategic capital program
• Communicate with client management for Project Updates
• Interface and communication with the plant to ensure seamless handover of projects to plant operations
• Lead and/ or support the identification and resolution of project issues
• Lead the development of project capital and opex cashflow forecasting and cashflow tracking/reporting
• Preparation of tender packages & follows through to award on cost, quality, timelines, knowledge, Safety etc.
• Coordinate Installation & commissioning, Validation
• Documentation and control of project with Training and hand over
• Implementation of engineering projects in an operating food plant including responsibility within the project for EH&S compliance, adherence to GMP requirements and management of the project schedule and budget.
• Work with Corporate engineering in the development and implementation of corporate standards, programs including developing the technical capability within the local facility.
• Establish the detailed construction execution strategy/plan and manage it to a successful completion.
• Organise, run, and record the necessary constructability reviews.
• Ensure sufficient coordination meetings are being held, minutes issued and ensure all parties are clear on the sequence of work
• Ensure Quality systems are in place and being adhered to.
• Provide subject matter expertise where required

Qualifications

We would like to hear from candidates who have:
• 5 + years of process industry experience in engineering with additional operations or maintenance exposure and extensive capital project management experience
• Degree qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Should be well versed with English, Hindi/Punjabi both speaking & writing
• Experience / qualifications in process engineering and filling and packaging technologies
• Good understanding of manufacturing capacity analysis and capacity modelling
• Highly developed influencing skills required to manage various stakeholders
• Experience working in multicultural, diverse, global organisation
• Experience in a similar business area
• Ability to create and manage budgets
• Demonstrate basic engineering computer skills (MS Office/AutoCAD/ MS Project)
• Ability to lead and develop individuals and teams
• Experience of managing suppliers to achieve on-time and on-cost performance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner
