Description
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer specializing in Edible Oil Refinery operations, with a strong background in managing Environmental Treatment Plants (ETP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, implementing sustainable practices, and optimizing ETP and RO operations to minimize environmental impact.
Responsibilities
• Environmental Compliance: Stay updated on local, state, and federal environmental regulations applicable to edible oil refinery operations. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with environmental standards. Coordinate with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and permits.
• ETP and RO Operations: Oversee the design, installation, and operation of Environmental Treatment Plants (ETP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. Monitor and optimize ETP and RO processes to achieve maximum efficiency and water treatment capabilities..
• Water Conservation and Sustainability: Implement water conservation initiatives within the refinery. Develop and execute sustainability programs to minimize environmental impact. Identify opportunities for water reuse and recycling.
• Environmental Impact Assessments: Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects or modifications to existing facilities. Propose and implement measures to mitigate environmental impacts.
• Data Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and maintain monitoring programs for key environmental parameters. Prepare and submit regular reports on environmental performance to management.
Qualifications
B.Sc/M.Sc (Environmental Science) qualified from a recognized university.
4-8 Years of Experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
