We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes. You will work closely with our product and development teams to ensure that our user interface is intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities

You will be expected to
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to design and develop user interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and style guides for new and existing features.
• Ensure that the user interface is visually appealing, user-friendly, and meets business requirements.
• Developing and conceptualising a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy.
• Investigating user experience design requirements for our range of products.
• Work with development teams to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and meet design standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve the user experience.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on other designers’ work.

EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in this position, you will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• At least 2 year’s experience in a UI design role.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and style guides.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and processes.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle with a passion for technology, and how it can be used to reimagine and transform user experiences
• Demonstrable experience of agile and scrum methodology
• The ability to lead and demonstrate value and add principles to a team
• Strong influencing skills
• A logical approach to problem solving with a track record of good analytical skills
• The ability to relate to customers and team stakeholders, whilst being comfortable in challenging where appropriate
• The motivation to develop skills and experience to raise your profile and develop your career in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable and competent facilitation skills for small groups to achieve focused outcomes
• The ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines
• Comfort working on your own initiative and in a collaborative team environment
• Broad business and technology understanding and a proven awareness of industry trends
• Good knowledge and understanding of business processes and be able to articulate these in a way that all stakeholders will understand
• Ability to recognise potential risks such as scope creep, and mitigate those risks
• Wireframing and prototyping tools and techniques
