We're looking for an experienced UX AND UI Designer to work on a truly innovative and market leading project.
You'll join the Auckland team for an initial 6 months before the delivery stage of this product and then work with the development team to ensure optimisation and feature developments.

• *Key responsibilities include**:
- Collaborate with product management, UX, and engineering to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
- Develop storyboards, wireframes, process flows, site maps that effectively communicate customer journeys, interactions and design ideas
- Create hypothesis and experiments and multi-variant tests that enable data-driven design decisions
- Conduct concept and usability validation/testing with customers and gather feedback ensuring all learnings are shared with the wider team
- Leverage analytics and insights to guide the design process
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions
- Establish and ensure adherence to design guidelines, best practices, standards, fonts colours and images
- Produce high-fidelity pixel perfect artefacts in conjunction with the development team sprint plans
- Develop original user interface mock-ups and designs that clearly illustrate how the service functions and looks like
- Conduct layout adjustments based on feedback
- Handover designs, style guides, specifications, assets, and code snippets to engineers and work with them to see the implementation matches the original design
- Be up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- A track-record of delivering delightful design to customers. Design experience on apps would be a bonus
- In depth understanding of UI/UX methodologies and passion for great user experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in a UX/UI design role
- Familiarity with JIRA - Reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria’s and design reviews.
- Have a can do attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritise under tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Experience using agile tools with a working knowledge of agile methodology
