An exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join the Group Underwriting team. This role will see you using a variety of tools and techniques, to provide reporting, insights, and aid in the delivery of business improvements and solutions with a focus on QBE's customer and policy information and sustainability data.
• Perform data analysis tasks such as building, querying, modelling, testing, and validating data using relevant tools.
• Build and manage the centralised customer engagement portal dashboard with key metrics on measuring customer engagement progress.
• Support with testing and AI integration into the centralized customer databased
• Deliver accurate, high-quality, and timely data products and reports.
• Provide recommendations based on key data trends and insights to facilitate decision-making processes.
• Work with stakeholders to comprehend data requirements for reporting, project, and business needs.
• Contribute to the enhancement of data services' quality by improving processes, systems, or tools.
• Create visually appealing reports, research, briefings, and other correspondence in line with business objectives. About you
• Experience working with data and/or analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse, query, extract and present data to support business objectives.
• Proven experience providing data insights to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau.
• Experience working with SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Qualifications in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar.
• Financial Services or Insurance experience is beneficial. About QBE
