Description

Urgent requirement for a Network Administrator (Wired and Wireless Site Communications Networks) to be based onsite in Saudi Arabia on a 1 year contract for a major IT vendor.

Responsibilities:
• Review and improve the wired and wireless networks performance.
• Support the Ministry's network and ensure availability at all sites as planned.
• Periodic maintenance of the Ministry's on-site networks and ensure the stability of the network at all judicial facilities.
• Prepare and submit adequate reports describing the nature of faults, levels of performance and associated problems, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Periodic review on the design of the internal network at judicial facilities and their linkage mechanism with the main and cloud centers.
• Provide support to all Ministry technical teams through researching and tracking the problem, and implementing solutions related to the Management role and tasks.
• Provide support, management and improvement of the smart network solutions SD-WAN.
• Provide support for SDN techniques for wired networks.
• Provide support, management and maintenance of Network Admission Control solutions.
• Provide support for the protection techniques of wired and wireless networks, and ensure their application.
• Installation of new equipment at all judicial facilities.
• Manage periodic network security updates.
• Supervise third party technicians and contractors during network installation and/or maintenance at judicial facilities.
• Carry out critical technical tasks that require high technical knowledge and expertise at internal and external sites.

Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, specifically managing wired and wireless site communications networks.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and wireless standards (e.g., Wi-Fi 6).
• Experience with network equipment configuration and management, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in network security practices, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and protocols (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and vendors.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CWNA, are highly desirable.
