Location: Doha, Qatar ????????

Contract: 1-year (renewable) with a Major IT Vendor

Key Responsibilities:

1.Risk Analysis:
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential security risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and mitigate identified risks.

2.Security Assessment:
• Perform regular security assessments on systems, networks, and applications.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and recommend improvements.

3.Vulnerability Management:
• Utilize vulnerability assessment tools to identify and analyze potential weaknesses.
• Work with IT teams to implement remediation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.

4.Security Policies and Compliance:
• Develop and enforce security policies aligned with industry standards and regulations.
• Ensure organizational compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks.

5.Threat Intelligence:
• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Integrate threat intelligence into risk assessments and security strategies.

6.Security Awareness and Training:
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
• Foster a security-conscious culture within the organization.

7.Incident Response:
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to security incidents.
• Document incident details and contribute to post-incident analyses.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• From 6 to 10 years’ experience as Cyber Security Analyst with expertise in conducting risk assessments and security analyses.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Proficiency in using security assessment tools and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
