Description

The jobholder will be part of our global team with a need to regularly engage with ourscientific staff in Berlin and therefore must be prepared to work from our Buch facilitiesinBerlin on a regular basis.
Regularly discuss new or ongoing projects with scientists and take part in internal scientificmeetings to identify potential IP issues, key inventions, and other IP opportunities as they arise
• Collaborate with the business development team to identify partnering opportunities based on IP publications
• Ensure compliance with the German Employee Inventions Act
• Degree in chemistry or biology, preferably a PhD, with experience in the pharma/biotech industry
• Qualified IP attorney (EQE and/or German Patent Attorney preferred)
• Fluency in English is essential, and capability in German a distinct advantage
• Ability to work under pressure, manage different projects and deliver to defined timelines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong team player
