Description

Job Title: Financial AnalystSummary To own and manage the business plan for Innovation at Oxagon, including conducting modelling exercises, what-if analysis, sensitivity analysis, etc. To support the whole innovation team with procurement, financial reporting and other tasks relating to adherence to budgets and plans. To support the annual budgeting and planning processes.Responsibilities Management of the Innovation Business Plan
• Own and manage the innovation business plan on an ongoing basis, including capex, opex and revenues from across the team, ensure that a current version of the business plan incorporating all of the latest assumptions is maintained up-todate
• Develop new business models as needed as the development of the business plan progresses
• Manage and track all cost categories with actual and forecast budgets
• Conduct analytics to help the team make good business decisions
• Work jointly with the team managing the overall Oxagon business plan to ensure that the latest innovation outputs are correctly captured within the overall plan
• Support overall Oxagon business plan updates, for example in connection with Detailed Masterplan updatesSupport to the whole innovation team on financial topics
• Manage the interface with Neom Procurement and support the whole team on procurement needs.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records to support the team in understanding current financial performance and available funds
• Manage the interface with the Oxagon finance team and supply them with accurate and timely information as required, e.g., monthly accruals
• Populate KPIs to support overall management of the teamSupport the annual budgeting and planning process
• Work with the extended team (including Oxagon Projects) to develop and refine annual budgets
• Interface with Oxagon finance team to ensure that they have all of the information they need in a timely manner and ensure that the latest data in their files is correctTeam Contribution
• Contribute to shaping the overall team culture through own behaviours and supporting and coaching others
• Contribute to delivering against overall team targets and ensuring that the team is high performingQualifications
• 8+ years experience of developing and managing financial models, particularly in a real estate development environment
• Bachelors degree in a numerically driven subject such as Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Maths
• Masters degree desirable
• Strong experience of structuring analysis to support management decision making
• Absolute expert in the use of Excel to manage large and complex financial models
• Good process management skills, able to manage complicated processes (e.g., procurement) and keep things moving forward despite obstacles, relentlessly following up to avoid delays
• Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment Confident in interacting with senior managers and executives, able to give presentations and hold discussions without support
• Good stakeholder management skills, proven ability to interact with stakeholders, collaborate and build networks
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and to influence others without direct authority
• Strong analytical skills, abstract problem solving and logical reasoning.
• Experience of consulting preferred which could be from an in-house consulting group
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering a high standard of presentation preparation and working with all MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc)
• Flexible and adaptable, able to deal creatively with workplace challenges
• Pragmatic, able to find practical solutions and to get things done
• Resilient and persistent, will keep working to find a solution in the face of many obstacles
