Product Manager (Jira, Scrum Master, Agile Team) - Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager (Part-time Remote). This role focuses on efficient and accurate data entry, maintenance, and management within a Scrum framework using JIRA and ensuring that project information is effectively organized and maintained, facilitating streamlined workflows.

Key roles & and responsibilities

· Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising between multiple stakeholders: business, developers, and designers

· Creating User Stories or Product Backlog Items (PBIs): As per FIGMA, enter every sequence and initiative into Jira as items in the product backlog. These entries should be detailed enough to provide a clear understanding of what needs to be done to the development team

· Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data in JIRA, including user stories, tasks, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and backlog details. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in alignment with Agile principles and project requirements.

· Prioritizing the Backlog: Prioritize the backlog based on the value and urgency of each item, based on inputs from management.

· Sprint Planning and Execution: Assist in sprint planning activities by organizing and structuring the sprint backlog in JIRA, ensuring all user stories and tasks are appropriately categorized and prioritized.

· Jira Workflow Management: Collaborate with Scrum team members to effectively configure and manage Jira boards, workflows, and custom fields to optimize data visibility and reporting.

· Documentation: Create and maintain documentation on data entry best practices, Jira usage guidelines, and process workflows to facilitate effective app development

Qualification and experience required

§ Familiarity with Agile principles and Scrum methodologies. Proficient in using JIRA for data entry, workflow configuration, and reporting

§ Proven experience as a Product Manager in Agile/Scrum environments, with expertise in utilizing Jira for project management and workflow optimization.

§ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and maintenance.

§ Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment.

§ Bachelor’s degree and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications are preferred.
