Our mission is to support our clients to deliver all of this in the safest, most sustainable, economic and effective manner. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Senior Process Engineer – Hydrogen (m/f/d)Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Madrid, Copenhagen_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________As Senior Process / Chemical Engineer you will be responsible for project management and / or technical leadership in close cooperation with clients and our planning teams for projects with focus on hydrogen. Your location can be Düsseldorf (preferred), Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, Copenhagen or Amsterdam and can be partially remote through flexible, self-organized working. Your role in our team Collaborate in international multidisciplinary design and consulting teamsSupport in the management and building of the teamParticipation in tendering, contracting and commercial management for individual projectsContribute as a process engineering specialist to solve business challengesAssist in the preparation of reports and presentation of project deliverablesRepresent Arup in direct contact with clients and their stakeholders in the development of project deliverablesEnsure the discipline delivers safe, sustainable, digitized, cost effective, compliant and technically competent process engineering deliverables Your ideal ProfileNobody is perfect and all career paths are different. We look forward to receiving your application, even if you don't meet all of our requirements: University degree in chemical or process engineering or comparable qualification5+ years of process development experience in electrolysis, fuel cells, industrial gases, energy transition, oil and gas, carbon capture or similar chemical sectorsLeading function in national and international large-scale projectsInitial experience working with hydrogen and a good understanding of its production and useSolid knowledge of applicable local and international standards as well as legal and regulatory requirementsTravel flexibility for occasional projects and customer assignments in Germany and abroadFluent German and very good English skills (for other locations the local native language instead of German) Our benefits Offer varies at locations outside Germany: Flexible working Choice of full or part-time model, up to 3 days a week in a home office and up to 20 days a year working from another country.
