Web Developer

Pleasant Holidays, one of the largest travel wholesalers in the United States specializing in vacation travel to the Hawaiian Islands, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, Mexico, Middle East (Jordan & United Arab Emirates), Africa (Egypt & South Africa), South Pacific (Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, New Zealand & Tahiti), Asia, the United States & Canada, Maldives, cruise vacations worldwide is seeking a Web Developer.

Pleasant Holidays is a subsidiary of the Automobile Club of Southern California, a diversified insurance, roadside assistance, financial services and travel organization serving AAA Members for more than 100 years.

Primary Duties:
• Collaborate within the digital content team, as well as cross-functionally with IT and eCommerce teams to develop enhancements to Pleasant Holidays’ online properties and content management system
• Create and maintain web pages and other online content including text, graphics, pricing and calls to action
• Develop email templates and translate business rules into interactive email formats
• Identify and fix bugs and errors in the editorial/front-end content; UAT and regression testing
• Develop and maintain content for third-party partner sites.
• Develop white-label booking engines and layouts and enhancements for the affiliate program

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Web development experience, including advanced working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and CSS Frameworks
• Expertise in responsive design
• Experience in regression testing, UAT, cross-browser compatibility testing
• Experience with CMS development/administration (Drupal preferred)
• Knowledge of integration with external APIs
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility Standards preferred
• Ability to problem solve in a face-paced, results-oriented corporate environment
• Track record of excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills

Location/Shift: Onsite or Remote, CA, Monday-Friday

Starting pay for the position is $24.29 - 30.36 per hour.
