The Opportunity

Join our team in Pilbara, WA, and embrace rewarding, full-time roles as Experienced Pharmacists. We're seeking two passionate individuals who are dedicated to long-term healthcare.

You will work in various care settings including our Aboriginal Health Service, Dialysis Unit, Aged Care centres, and the Community Pharmacy. A typical day will involve:
• Applying your cultural awareness skills in daily interactions, especially when dealing with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
• Providing top-notch pharmacy services focusing on Home Medication Reviews (HMR), Medication Checks (PBS program), and other essential programs

About You

To qualify, candidates should be degree-qualified Pharmacists with general (unrestricted) AHPRA registration, or capable of obtaining it, and possess a genuine passion and interest in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander healthcare.

To succeed in this role, you will also have the following traits:
• A highly adaptable problem-solver
• Great at cultivating relationships within rural indigenous communities
• Ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams
• An excellent capability to work independently and make sound decisions regarding patient care

In addition, we also require extensive experience in various pharmacy areas, along with vaccinator certification and HMR/MMR accreditation. If you lack these accreditations, we provide support to help you obtain them.

Lastly, while a background in and willingness to work in remote areas is preferred, familiarity with the supply of PBS medicines to Indigenous populations under Section 100 is an advantageous asset.
