Description

Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor Physician order / prescriptions/drug profile to ensue dispensing of pharmaceuticals, identification and correction of potential allergic reactions and drug interaction/incompatibilities.Check and dispense:Unit dose and traditionally dispensed medications, Floor stock requests, Repacked productsCoordinates Pharmacy Technician prepared medications for accuracy and quality prior to dispensing in all areas.Insure the pharmacy and other pre-designate of drugs are stocked, equipped and maintained accordance with appropriate regulations.Implement policy and procedure of medication expiration short-dated and overstocked pharmaceuticals and arranges for the proper utilization of theses medications.Works on specials projects as assigned.Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
