We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a People & Performance (P&P) Coordinator (Human Resources Coordinator) to join our People & Performance team, reporting to the Senior P&P Coordinator.

Our P&P Coordinators are the first point of contact for HR queries, this means you will be helping the business with a variety of questions relating to their employment, from onboard right through to offboarding (and everything in between). This work is pivotal to the day-to-day operations of the P&P team. This is a high volume fast paced part of the organisation.

The People & Performance Coordinator is responsible for:

- providing HR information to our people and leaders regarding all stages of the employment journey at Auckland Transport (via Pa Mai).
- creating and processing employment related documentation, and entering these transactions into our HR system (SAP)
- providing general support to the wider Culture & Transformation team

You are passionate about delivering a great user experience, every interaction is well thought out and professional, delicately balancing the user experience with the needs of the business. You enjoy working in a methodical way, following process and checking policies/guidelines to ensure accuracy. You are open minded, viewing the work we do with a lens of continuous improvement, and have an eagerness to explore new ways of doing things. A great team player, that works well with the immediate team the wider C&T team and corporate functions to get the work done. You will be flexible & open in your approach with a professional attitude, as well as an understanding of the need to preserve confidentiality with the work that we do. Lastly but most importantly, you will embody AT's values, have a fun, cheerful and personable attitude.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Ideally hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Human Resources Management, or relevant experience
- Be process orientated and have excellent attention to detail
- Be well organised, with intermediate-advanced computer skills
- Be a diligent multi-tasker, who can work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of customer experiences.
- Ideally an understanding of NZ employment legislation
