Our team of consulting professionals have demonstrated a commitment to ongoing excellence, sustained growth and successful project outcomes, and as a result, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to be a part of a driven, supportive and collaborative team environment based in our New Plymouth office.

As a Mechanical Engineer, Your Duties Will Largely Include
• Design and specification of mechanical systems & equipment, including:
• Piping, pumps, tanks and pressure vessels
• Materials handling equipment
• Utilities including water, steam, refrigeration and compressed air
• Learning client’s processes to gain an understanding of our client’s business across a wide range of industries
• Project management
• Running design and site meetings
• Project engineering roles, typically on client sites
• Short to long-term assignments to industrial sites as part of site based engineering teams, during the design and construction phases, including regional New Zealand, New Caledonia and Indonesia

About You

We are seeking a degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with exceptional technical design and project management experience, undertaking projects for and on heavy industrial sites with a passion for developing and building networks and client relationships. Experience with site shutdown/turnaround planning and support would be an advantage but not essential. Our Industrial work allows us to work on projects throughout New Zealand and the Pacific.
