Job Description

As an AI engineer, your role will be to create and implement artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, particularly machine learning (ML) algorithms, that will make our instruments smarter and enable the next generation of scientific discovery. Your research will influence various industries, including molecular diagnostics, clinical diagnostics, next-generation sequencing, microscopy, and health care.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for image-related algorithm research and development, including the use of deep learning and common machine learning approaches in computer vision;
• Responsible for computer vision-related technology research and development, such as but not limited to object detection, categorization, human (live) recognition, and defect detection; and
• Responsible for developing deep learning, machine learning, and other cutting-edge computer vision technologies and giving solutions to real-world application situations.

Requirements
• Master, PhD or outstanding Undergraduates; Majoring in including but not limited to computer science, artificial intelligence, information engineering, pattern recognition, electronic engineering, physics/quantum computing, software engineering, information processing, etc.;
• Master the fundamental algorithms of computer vision and image processing and conduct in-depth research in one or more of the relevant fields: Picture content search, face identification and recognition, image categorization and annotation, Augmented reality, image quality evaluation, and image processing.
• Strong engineering implementation skills, including C/C++, Python, Shell, and other programming languages;
