The Role

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining modern web applications. As a Product Designer at PhazeRo, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the look, feel, and user experience of software products. Your role will involve research, testing, and designing work that will lead to the development of well-defined value-driven products that align with and advances our customer's business.

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning industries such as fintech, energy, e-commerce, healthcare, and more; creating engaging and seamless user experiences for our clients. Additionally, while primarily focused on product design, having knowledge of web technologies would be beneficial for collaborating effectively with the software engineering team.

This role is remote friendly!

Requirements
• Conduct research that supports product-related decision-making. This includes user interviews, competitive analysis, surveys, and usability testing.
• Develop designs (wireframes and high-fidelity screens, and prototypes as needed) for web and mobile applications. The designs should reflect a strong understanding of user needs. Each decision should be justifiable.
• Ability to iterate over designs in a fast manner to reflect changing user requirements and new research findings.
• Write clean design documentation to enable frontend teams to work on developing the designs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Support in building design standards that will be used by all designers in the company.
• Lead a small cross-functional team to deliver projects end-to-end.
• Present and defend your designs in front of internal and external teams.
• Support the business development function by estimating the work for potential future projects.

Technologies we use
• Figma for developing designs.
• Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
• Slack, GitHub, ZenHub, Confluence.

What We Require
• 2-4+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
• Strong design skills using design tools such as Figma.
• Research and data-driven thinking and decision-making. Your design decisions should not be made in a vacuum but should be backed by proper justification (user experience, research, business needs, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. This is very important for us as you will be meeting clients and presenting your work to them often.

Graphic design knowledge is a plus but not required.
