Oraan is Pakistan's female-led fintech startup with a mission to make savings simple, easy and habitual for everyone. We enable people to save with a safe group in a simple and transparent method whether they are looking to save for a car, a wedding, or just become better at savings.

About The Role

Data Analyst at Oraan will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. You will be working directly with our teams ranging from growth to operations to develop a deep understanding of our business model and how our customers interact with Oraan

Responsibilities
• Perform thorough analysis of credit risk data, identify and understand data quality issues and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
• You will provide analysis of internal and external regulations (credit risk) and preparation of functional documentation on this basis
• You identify and define new data improvement opportunities for all business units.
• You will work to formulate Ad hoc reporting and dashboarding for business functions including finance and operation

Required qualifications:
• At Least 1 year of past working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst
• Knowledge of data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience writing SQL (Knowledge of Python/R is a plus)
• Working knowledge of BI tools, specifically Metabase is a plus
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform is a plus
• Knowledge of statistics in relation to running experiments, A/B testing and descriptive statistics
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
