- As a business services company, our four Business Units within DKSH represent brands into various NZ markets including, Technology, Performance Materials, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Lifestyle and Household. We operate right across the goods and services supply chain from product importing, marketing, sales and post-sales support, and client and customer account management.
- An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Technology Business Unit, as a Sales Specialist - General Lab Products & Consumables. This role can be located in
- **Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington or Waikato area**.
- As a Sales Specialist you will achieve or exceed budgeted sales and margins through sales of products.
• *Key Responsibilities**
- Visit customers in the assigned territory
- Develop business at customer sites by promoting and securing orders for products with demonstrations and presentations as required
- Prepare quotes using internal quote system in accordance with company policies, with assistance from Internal Sales Specialist
- Provide input to marketing campaigns
- Maintain existing customers and develop new accounts
• *Functional Skills and Knowledge**
• *To be successful you will need**:

- At least 2 years experience of selling, and the sales process, preferably gained in the Scientific/Instrumentation/Laboratory sector
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Tertiary qualification in Scientific discipline
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
