As a legal consultant you can have the opportunity to work:
• In-house with one of our clients - this could mean working with a client either virtually or locally to support a project, regulatory reform or transactional work during periods of absence.
• In the Allen & Overy UAE practice to support a specific client or the practice generally during peak volumes.

Role Requirements

Legal consultancy can offer lawyers fresh and varied work in a range of in house teams and potentially within A&O practice. Currently we are seeking lawyers with 5-7 years' top-tier post-qualification experience within projects.

Successful applicants will:
• Have a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm, ideally with some in house exposure either directly or via secondment
• Have worked complex infrastructure or oil and gas projects for both private sector developers and investors
• Experience within project development would be beneficial although not essential
• Experience of development financing deals and forward funding transactions would be advantageous
• Have excellent academic credentials;
• A practicing certificate (or equivalent) which entitles them to practice as a lawyer
• A consultant mindset - be resilient, open to experiencing new challenges and environments and be excited to develop their skill set and brand within the consultancy field
