Your team within C&F consists of 30 colleagues who all work strategically, tactically, operational and cooperate closely with all relevant stakeholder in the Sales Market.

Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead, manage and organize Energy Optimizations and Construction projects with a high level of professionalism and according to routines, company policies, guidelines and local legislation.

In the role you will prepare and present budgets and business cases, follow-up on cost and suppliers to secure financial transparency, drive tendering and contracting for your projects and coordinate design, execution and logistics for your projects. Through strong teamwork and clear communication, you secure that relevant stakeholders receive needed information on time. This position is based in Germany. The role part of the Expansion Function and reports to the Construction & Facility (C&F) Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES:
• Implement BMS systems to smart regulate energy consumption
• Secure that the stores are built in line with the general/local building specifications, instructions & interior specifications
• Secure that Health & Safety requirements are in place and followed
• Prepare and present budgets and business cases
• Secure investment budget and follow up
• Support procurement specialist in prequalifying companies on a regular basis according to PQQ guidelines and secure a solid pool of contractors.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities in order to receive all necessary permits
• Follow up on the construction process through regular site visits
• Manage and organize the hand over process with landlords & contractors
• ensure compliance with project-documentation, time schedule and quality demands
• Together with Regional Energy Specialist, implement HVAC strategy within new and existing stores
• Identify, plan, lead and execute HVAC and other projects, with external service supplier

• You are comfortable managing several stakeholders and various projects and tasks simultaneously.
• You have the ability to prioritize, especially in circumstances where you are put under pressure and with tight deadlines.
• You have strong communication skills and high sense of urgency, understanding business needs and requirements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years of previous work experience in construction or real estate.
• Fluent & excellent verbal and written communication skills in German
• Experience managing external supplier and follow up on contractual obligations.
• strong background in HVAC consulting
• Good understanding of the field of HVAC and construction and ability to identify risks and opportunities in the retail environment.
• Knowledge in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams.
• Understand, read, speak and write in English
• You are based in Germany
