Boat & ATV Marketing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Specialist develops and manages direct marketing and relationship-building programs to improve prospect conversion and owner loyalty for the company’s boat and ATV brands and retail operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Develops and executes nurture marketing campaigns to new prospects.

· Develops and executes lifecycle contact strategies for boat and ATV buyers/owners.

· Performs analyses to determine response rates and revenue performance of marketing programs.

· Performs analysis to identify opportunities for targeted marketing campaigns.

· Develops and executes marketing tests against new customer segments.

· Implements project management methods that assure quality, timely and on-budget campaign execution.

· Leverages company customer database resources to serve boat and ATV marketing activities.

· Develops program communications to explain and direct actions of HQ and retail team members.

· Deploys full array of direct, social, web, in-store communication resources in the execution of direct marketing strategies.

· Works with creative teams to develop materials that engage customers and deliver on strategies.

· Collaborates with boat retail operations for full integration of in-store CRM tools into national campaigns.

· Collaborates with Dealer Services team to extend marketing resources used with company-owned stores to independent dealers.

· Develops and maintains reports that; monitors conversion and loyalty, measures individual marketing program performance against objectives, tracks spending vs. approved budgets

· ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum Degree Required: College degree in marketing or communications, or Graduate degree in Business

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

· Quality execution, performance vs. objectives

· Implementation of learning for marketing programs

· Superior written communication skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

· The ability to succeed in a fast-paced goal oriented environment

· Work experience in a marketing environment

· Enthusiasm for the Outdoors

· Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills

· Team-orientation and positive attitude

· Regularly performs computer work and sits.

· Occasionally walks and stands.

· Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

· Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
