We are seeking an experienced accountant working remotely to strengthen our clients finance team and ensure the financial integrity of the companies. As an accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring tax compliance. Your collaboration with various departments and provision of financial insights will contribute to supporting the growth and success of our clients' businesses.

Responsibilities
• Managing client accounts and recording business transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
• Monitoring and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable systems for clients.
• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns for clients.
• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting financial performance metrics.
• Analyzing financial data and generating reports to support client management.
• Collaborating with internal and external auditors during client year-end audits.
• Updating accounting policies and procedures to align with current best practices.
• Assisting in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving financial efficiency for clients.
• Conducting financial audits and providing strategic financial recommendations for clients.
• Advising clients on financial and accounting matters to support informed decision-making.

Requirements
• Completed education in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in accounting, preferably in a client-oriented environment.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable accounting standards and practices.
• Experience in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and high accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of tax regulations is advantageous.
• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualifications are a plus.
• Additional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) are considered a plus.
