About the Role

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced, motivated, high-performing, quick-learning, and passionate systems administrator to join our team to support our customer’s command and control system.

To apply for this role you need to be an Emirati National.

The Systems Administrator will work within the Infrastructure Support Team to provide on-going operations and maintenance support of the Emirates Air Defense Ground Environment – Transformation (EADGE-T) Information Technology (IT) equipment and software, set-up administrator and service accounts, perform system tuning, perform diagnostics, install system updates, perform backups, and maintain system configuration/installation documentation:
• Systems IT Design
• Baseline Control
• System Integration & Interfaces
• Systems Test

Candidate must have a keen interest and understanding of how operational IT systems work and be motivated by troubleshooting issues and creating system solutions for challenging problems. With a logical and careful approach to analyzing requirements, creating appropriate designs and developing implementation solutions, as well as an understanding of the role of test in ensuring delivery of mature products.

Responsibilities:
• Manage User accounts and Access to the EADGE-T, and Development computer systems
• Maintain and Install system updates and builds
• Maintain and update automated system maintenance processes
• Maintain and repair system software items (databases, installations, COTS products)
• Monitor the system’s operational performance and detect issues that may cause service disruption
• Perform error detection and fault correction
• Perform backups, archives, recovery, and restoration of the system in accordance with Technical Manuals, Operating Instructions, and Checklists
• Troubleshoot and repair user issues with the system
• Occasional domestic and international travel to remote sites is required
• Ability to support off-nominal work hours to support mission needs (night and weekends)
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage own time to meet program needs
• Problem determination & resolution
• IT skills in a range of SW packages
• Highly reliable, secure, geographically dispersed network architecture and network management tools, and network devices.
• Experience integrating new systems or components into an operational system, including occasional troubleshooting and reverse engineering

• Red Hat enterprise Linux 7
• Windows Systems Administration
• Virtualization Systems Administration
• Domain Level Authentication and Single Sign On (SSO)
• VMware ESXi & vSphere
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
• Storage (NAS, SAN or similar)
• Shell scripting knowledge

Desired Skills

Knowledgeable in the following:
• Air and Missile Defense
• Operational and Tactical Command and Control (C2)
• Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)
• Modeling and Simulation
• Microsoft Active Directory

Experience with the following:
• Tactical data Links, preferably: Link-16 and Link-11
• Fixed and mobile command centers, including supporting coalition/expeditionary operations
• VMware Horizon
• VMware vSAN
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Red Hat Identity Management (IdM)
• Red Hat Satellite
• Windows Server 2012 & 2016
• Windows 10 & 7
• Centralized Logging Solutions such as WebNMS or SPLUNK
• Deployment Automation using DevOps tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef
• Experience in managing and maintaining RedHat Linux and Unix Operating systems
• Experience in Network Interfaces, Addressing, and naming services operation
• Experience in Computing and Networking Security Management Processes

Familiarity with the following;
• Cybersecurity and multiple security enclaves
• Junos Space
• McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
• Application Servers JBoss, Tomcat
• VOIP systems such as Avaya and Quintron
