Accuri Business Solutions, on behalf of our client are actively looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer on an initial 12mth Contract.

Our clients partner occupies a leading position within the UK’s Nuclear industry actively contributing to global advancements and boasts an unparalleled expertise encompassing the entirety of the nuclear life cycle.

Required Experience

Engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery, including recent positions influencing engineers, designers and guiding technical personnel in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages as directed by a Responsible Engineer.

Competent in the production of standard deliverables and design calculations.

Ability to check the deliverables/calculations produced by other engineers in the team.

Knowledge of laws, regulations, processes, and procedures appropriate to the discipline or specialist area supported.

Current experience of plant and equipment, including solutions regulations, standards, and operating environment influences.

Knowledge of relevant design tools, techniques, and related methods eg IT systems, Hazop process.

Minimum Requirement:

3 years within the previous 5 years working in a role where knowledge of engineering was a key attribute.

Minimum 1 years within the last 3 years working within a regulated and quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles reliant upon professional engineering judgement and where design was a major part of the role.

Qualification Requirements:
• Degree Qualified (BEng),
• Working towards Corporate or Chartered status
• Must be able to attain Security Clearance

Location: Warrington or Westlakes

Hybrid Working: 3days office / 2 days remote.
