Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Task Consultancy Limited. The role is primarily located in Auckland, but with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects, designing and developing machines using computer-aided design (CAD), conducting research and development (R&D) to improve existing products or processes, and overseeing other mechanical engineers and technicians.

Qualifications
• Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Project Management skills
• Experience in Industrial Processes and Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience in managing a team of mechanical engineers and technicians
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in the engineering consulting industry, familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, and proficiency in relevant programming languages.
